KenSMART is a project run from the Kensington centre with Grade10,11 and 12 learners. The project runs from Monday to Friday, teaching Maths, Science and Communication skills.
Kensington and its inhabitants are a very dynamic part of Cape Town and working in the first ever SHAWCO center is truly an awesome experience. There are a wide range of difficult and yet exciting jobs that truly make an unforgettable SHAWCO experience. "Its hard work but you're making a difference where it really counts: helping kids in under funded schools get the marks that they need for their future! There is a desperate gap that needs to be filled in Gr10, 11 and 12 maths, science and career development skills. We hope to do our bit! |
